White and Nerdy

When you guys first read the title I’m pretty sure you just assumed I was talking about myself… which is pretty close. But that is beside the point.

One of my co-workers, Seth, was raggin’ on another of my co-workers, Kevin, for listening to Chamillionaire’s Ridin’ (Dirty). Kevin is one of the whitest white guys you will ever meet, whiter even than I.

Then in turn to completely confirm this fact he told us about this song “White and Nerdy” that he said was by Weird Al… done to the same tune of Chamillionaire’s song.

It turns out he wasn’t making this up. This song, and the video that Weird Al created for it (that you can find by going to Google Videos and searching “Weird Al White and Nerdy”) are some of the funniest, nerdiest things you will ever see in your life. This song would definitely be one of Weird Al’s best efforts so far in his career in my opinion and some of those that have reviewed his upcoming album that comes out on September 26.

If you have ever worked with computers, considered yourself a nerd, have a MySpace page, played Dungeons and Dragons, Trivial Pursuit, love Star Trek or Star Wars, or mathematics and the sciences then there will easily be something in this song and video for you to enjoy.
