So, Katie’s been raggin’ on me to start working on getting in good shape if I’m going to be serious about training for the physical portion of the FBI Special Agent hiring process. She also has been wanting to do more working out, blah blah blah, all that to be more healthy, both of us actually. Jorge told Katie that Shox work really well for his running and he runs about 15 miles a week on them. Her and I went to the mall yesterday to take advantage of some of the Christmas shopping sales to get some Nike Shox, coming highly recommended by Jorge.
Well, as you can see from the picture above this is the exact pair I picked out. According to Eastbay the color scheme is referred to as Black/Black/Patent. I tried them out last night at the Rec while running and they are definitely worth it, probably the nicest and most comfortable pair of running shoes I’ve ever had.
As for the rest of the day today… We found out last week that Texas Tech was going to the Insight Bowl, good, great, grand. One not so great thing though, it is going to be televised on the NFL Network, a channel that SuddenLink, our cable company, does NOT offer, and will not offer before the end of the year (the bowl game is on the 29th).
I found a DISH Network deal that included the NFL Network AND it’s $15 cheaper than SuddenLink cable, even with the local channels option added in. The installation guy is supposed to show up between the hours of 8am-12pm on Sunday to set it up, so that will be sweet. I also looked and found a $10 cheaper DSL Internet deal from NTS than for how much we pay at SuddenLink, so as soon as that gets set up, boom, SuddenLink is gone.
you do realize that we will all be at a wedding during that game right?
