Zach just sent me the most awesome NCAA Div-IA football schedule I have ever seen. Well, to tell you the truth I’ve seen it before, in previous years to project those schedules, but it’s been a while. By no means am I or Zach taking credit for this, I just thought it was really cool. It has the most current picture of the team’s helmet to represent themselves on another team’s schedule. There are worksheets for all the major conferences: ACC, Big East, Big 10-leven, Big 12, C-USA, Independent (i.e. Notre Dame, etc.), MAC, Mountain West, Pac 10, SEC, Sun Belt, and WAC. It also has a worksheet for Games of the Week with each time slots match up. Here’s the link: 2007 college football schedule.xls. May it drain many a color laser printer it’s toner.

Here comes the yearly recap with dates and other random happenings interspersed:
Jan. 1, 2006 - The year was started off right in The Woodlands, Texas with a small peck on the cheek from Ms. Katie Horecka at midnight… My first New Year’s midnight kiss… Joseph B. proposed to Melanie (I included this because I saw the ring before Melanie did).
Jan. 21 - I took Katie on our first date.
Feb. - I got my first dog, named Max… Unfortunately I was not able to keep him. He wasn’t a big fan of staying in my backyard and would get loose on a near daily basis.

Year in Review

It was bound to happen sooner rather than later. One of my old roommates, one of the first friends I made at Tech, Zach, just had his first article posted on the NCAA website. Zach was a journalism major and worked in the media office with another one of my old roommates, Natashia. He has a passion for all things sports, especially collegiate athletics. He also happens to have a deep affection for the Texas Tech Women’s Volleyball squad, he just happened to play for the Texas Tech Men’s Club Volleyball team since the men do not have a varsity team like the women. He knows more about college sports than anyone you will ever meet. He is currently working an internship for the NCAA in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wish him luck and read his article!
