Happy 23rd Birthday Katie! If I remember correctly the picture above was taken when she was a little under or over one year old. It could go either way, I’m really not sure.

A few of us went to Putt Putt last night for a few hours before everyone came over to the house for my birthday party. The golfers were me, Katie, Joe, Amanda, Pat, and Corie. Before Pat and Corie showed up Katie, Joe, Amanda, and I played some in the arcade. We raced each other in some Hydro Thunder and then I pulled out a win against Katie in Air Hockey. Once we got out on the course it was pretty cold and so we wanted to get through it as quick as we could and still play well. Pat ended up beating me by three strokes for the win. However, Corie was not having such luck. I took a video of one of her turns at trying to knock it in. Enjoy. Corie Trying to Putt.
UPDATE: The other two of a three piece birthday gift came today and all the camping stuff (portable hammock, tent kit, lantern) were from Katie’s Aunt Ann and Uncle Joe Mike Piazza.
Speaking of birthday gifts… As many of you know Katie and I will be married in June of this year and have registered for gifts at various places.
Well, today a Coleman Propane Lantern came in the mail from Katie and I’s registry.
However, there was no note or anything that claimed who it was from.
So, if it was you then let me know so you can get the proper credit when Katie and I start sending out Thank You cards after our wedding!

A special thanks to Katie’s side of the family for the cards and the 4-pack collection of classic movies. Also, for those of you in Lubbock with no plans yet for Friday then I will be celebrating my birthday at 6pm at the Putt Putt on 29th Dr. After some mini-golf and perhaps some go-karts we’ll head back to my house for grilling out, Lent-style, and playing some games and maybe a game of poker. James here was the missing 1/4 from the hockey game last night. Him, Anthony, Scott and I all played hockey together during middle and high school and pretty much went and did everything together. Unfortunately he was not able to join us because he works security at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine right by Grapevine Mills mall. We met up for breakfast this morning at IHOP and had a good time catching up. He is pretty sure that since he works security there that he might get assigned to Terrell Owens’ birthday bash at that hotel on December 3. From what he told me the celebrity guest list is pretty impressive and he should have a great time while working. This picture of us was more for my Mom. Before I left the house this morning to meet up with James she pleaded with me to take my camera so that she could see a recent picture of him. Don’t worry ladies, he’s taken, sorry.

Mark and Laura welcomed little Kolbe into their family at 2:21am on Friday, November 9, 2007. Katie and I knew that the two of them would be inundated with friends and family for the first few days so we decided we’d wait until today to go visit. All three of them are doing well. If Katie wasn’t having a bit of a cold this would definitely be her holding Kolbe instead of me. Congratulations Mark and Laura!
