Anyone tired of getting credit card apps in the junk mail everyday? I know I am. Keep in mind that this won’t reduce the amount of your junk mail but just give you something to have fun with.
Fun with Credit Card (or other Junk Mail) Companies:
1. Open the junk mail.
2. Set aside pre-paid return envelope (if there isn’t one then just shred everything)
3. Shred everything else that came in the envelope (remove all personally identifiable info first)
4. Pack the pre-paid return envelope with shredded junk mail
5. Seal it and put it in the mail and flip up the flag
It’s pretty easy. I got one of these crap junk applications from Washington Mutual in the mail yesterday and decided to brighten my day by confusing some poor mail room person for WaMu. Try it, it’s surprisingly the therapeutic.

Oh, Jared….
Melanie,
Come on! You know that’s hilarious.
Here is what I have wondered… some envelopes have a code saying that it is a tracker to identify where the envelope came from…do you think they could find out that its the same person sending them all the junk and get back at you somehow?
Elizabeth,
What can they do? Send more apps? I’ll just send their junk back to them shredded again. It’s a vicious cycle.
