This is Katie’s Dad chilling in the middle of their newly created/filled pond. Several years ago Katie’s parents and an aunt/uncle combo purchased some land in Bastrop, TX. They had a pond “built” but never had enough rain to fill it. That all changed over the last month or so. To give you perspective: If I was standing where he is floating on the boat then I would be 1-2 feet under water. Katie’s Mom sent this to me from her cell phone and I thought I’d share.
Sweet…are they going to stock it with any fish?
Yeah, once Katie’s Aunt and Uncle are officially moved in they plan to start stocking it with fish. It’s going to be awesome. We may have to have you and Abby join us down there for a weekend sometime this summer.
