… I went back to Dallas this year for Christmas as I always do to spend time with the family. The major difference from previous years was the absence of my brother, Br. Jesse, who is in Italy. So that was a little rough on my parents not having him home for the first year ever.

Other than that, everything went well. Katie had gotten me tickets to the Stars game on the 23rd for Christmas, so I took my Dad. Christmas Eve was spent visiting old friends, relaxing, and helping my Dad put up the Peanuts nativity scene in the front yard. We also watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe which was a present to the whole family from my Dad.

Christmas day was nice as always, went to 10am Mass, came home and opened up presents. My sister liked the laptop I gave her, my Dad was happy about his Star Trek movie collection and my Mom was excited to see Cars, Lady and the Tramp, and Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest under the tree for her. My Mom and I also went to the new Vista Ridge Cinemark and saw We Are Marshall, another new flick that I definitely recommend. I am working on putting up all my photos of yester year up on Picasa, so I will alert everyone to my progress on that as soon as there is some. Have a Happy New Year!
