So as I was driving to work this morning with nary a patch of ice in sight I was happy I would make it to work safely. Apparently the school districts of Frisco and McKinney, those closest to me, were closed today on account of DRY concrete and asphalt. That is one thing I will never understand about North Texas schools. They get closed if the temperature drops below 30, regardless of precipitation.

I just recently added the Facebook Connect feature you see to the right side of the posts. What it does is allow for the integration of my blog with Facebook. If you’ve logged into Facebook through the Connect feature on my website then whenever you make a comment on any of my posts it will also pop-up on your News Feed on Facebook and it will work the same as if you had commented on someone’s photo, status, or note.

Google rolled out some new Gmail Themes starting today and I thought I’d give the Ninja theme a try for a little while and see if it grows on me. We’ll see.
Tags: Nerd Alert, RandomWell, as some of you may or may not have known, back in the third week of September I began a Half Marathon training program. I was successfully able to complete the first six weeks before I had some knee trouble. Unfortunately for me it was the same knee that I had surgically repaired last year after tearing my left ACL.
I began having a good amount of swelling and fluid build up on my knee at the surgical incision site. I took last week off of running and visited the doctor on Thursday for a check-up. They could see there was a bit of an infection at the incision site and gave me some antibiotics to combat that and set me up with a follow-up appointment for Monday (yesterday).
