…is hilariously morbid. I’m pretty sure the only way you will like this movie is if you are a big fan of The Big Lebowski. Katie and I saw this for free at the Studio Movie Grill in Plano on Wednesday. I laughed so hard at a few parts I cried. I also think that unless you are perhaps 35 or younger, or have the humor of someone that age, you probably won’t enjoy it as much as Katie and I did.

Texas Tech’s preseason, out of conference schedule, is finally over with three out of the four games being at home.
Let’s hope their next eight get us to a BCS bowl.

If you are looking to find out the distribution of your last name among the countries of the world then check out World Names Profiler that I came across today. The highest concentration of my last name is in France but there is also some in Germany which is where I’m told that my portion of the Bares family is from, so at least that still holds. So along with France and Germany (as well as the U.S.) the Bares surname has been found in Argentina, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, Italy (where my brother is), and Canada (where I have at least one aunt).

On August 22 Katie, my Dad, Rob, and I went to the Dallas Cowboys preseason game against the Houston Texans. It was lots of fun, my first Cowboys game in the 17 years I’ve lived in Texas. Yes, I am wearing a Cowboys jersey. My Dad and one of my uncles got me a #82 Witten jersey as a wedding present that they gave to me at my bachelor party. We took some more pictures and you can see them HERE.
