Katie and I have been back from our honeymoon for a whole day now and we are both exhausted. We house hunted with a realtor and saw six houses. We just finished not 20 minutes ago sending her another list of houses to look at tomorrow before we fly back to Lubbock.
We will get more pictures and a daily journal for the honeymoon up as soon as we can, but it may be a few days.

I was just offered a position to work for the Tenet account with Perot Systems in Frisco, TX and I accepted it. Now both Katie and I will have jobs to start after our move back to the greater DFW area. Whammy!

Today Katie and I went on down to the county courthouse and made our intentions official with the state. We are now licensed to be wed in the state of Texas. It will all be official once Fr. Jim signs on that dotted line Saturday and puts it in the mail!
Didn’t think it would happen, huh?

So apparently I have to learn how to dance for my upcoming wedding that is just over a week away. I have been tutored on a couple of the finer points of country dancing by a roommate of mine and pleaded with to go out with a group to practice. I told Katie that if I had to then I was going to get a nice pair of boots and not grip the floor all night in tennis shoes.
After work yesterday she helped me pick out these bad boys made by Anderson Bean Boot Company. The nice gentleman with the sweet fumanchu informed us that this pair I picked out had just come in that day and I was one of the first to try them on. I tried them on, looked around at some others, and finally came back to this pair.

This morning Katie accepted an offer from the Plano ISD to be a 3rd grade teacher at Skaggs Elementary. That’s the ticket back to civilization we needed. Just kidding, but to everyone who extended prayers our way we are eternally grateful. Now it’s MY turn to find something.
Also, thanks to everyone that came out to our cook out at my parents house near Lewisville. We look forward to many more of those as the year progresses.
