It’s Been A While

BrianI tried to find one of what I think is the funniest of Brian that I have and I think I accomplished that. It’s a crop from a much bigger picture including Natashia and Brandi with a big sign in the background that says “THEY GOT ROCKED.” which can be seen here.

So Brian has finally gotten his blog back up here. Apparently back sometime in November or earlier he attempted to do some upgrade to his Blogger and it didn’t go so well. He ended up losing all of his posts and past and thus decided to not update for about six months… until one day.

That day was about three weeks ago, he performed the standard “Test” post and still didn’t see any of his content other than the test. Turns out it all magically came back about a day or two ago and now he claims he’s going to be in a posting frenzy, we’ll see. Welcome back Brian… cue the Welcome Back Kotter theme .

Smile

Khaki

Every once in a while I’m not having a good couple of days and I’m in need of something to make me smile. Well, today that happened. During RA Leadership bonding my Dad sent me a picture mail from his cellphone. This is one of my dog at home, Khaki, and I’ll just pretend that she misses me. Enjoy.

April (Snow) Showers…

Bring some freakin’ cold weather. Leave it to West Texas to have a white Easter instead of a white . On Saturday there was a little over two inches of snowfall in southern Lubbock with more accumulation in other parts. This was easily the latest in the year I have ever experienced , even outdoing 2003. Then it was April 1st or close to it I believe. I woke up to a nice blanket on the ground with it continuing ’til around lunch time, no this time, I figured I had enough of from this winter… so yeah, more in Lubbock helping to emphasize the coldest winter I’ve had in Texas so far.

Date with TMNT

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
So last night I used RA Leadership as an excuse for going to see a movie in the middle of the week with Jared Coffelt that I have been wanting to see since I heard it was coming out. That movie was TMNT.

If any of you enjoyed the exploits of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when you were younger or became interested over the last few years due to the resurgence caused by a new and updated cartoon coming out then this movie is definitely for you.

It was alot of fun, the first ninja turtles movie to come out that wasn’t live action or traditional animation. This was completely CG and I have to say it was pretty sweet.

At the end of this one they hinted at the possible return of Shredder in a sequel, which I think would be pretty crazy. Anyways, you’ll enjoy it if you get a chance to see it. I know I’ll be seeing it again since Katie wants to see it as well.
