Nope

Texas TechNope. That’s my response to my last post after beat ISU. Back on Track? Nope. A lot of people were justifiably disgruntled with the referees and the way they called the game. It wasn’t the refs that lost it for us, they didn’t help, but they didn’t lose it for us. You just won’t beat a team like UT without scoring a single point in one half of football, it just won’t happen. Let’s hope we can turn this season around with two wins in our last three games and get a decent bowl game.

Happy Halloween (Post Party)

Yoda - my pumpkinI would definitely have to say that last night was one of our most successful parties ever. The turn out was amazing, we had great food, great games, guests from out of town, and no drunken belligerency. Some of the costumes: 2 Clark Kents, Lana Lang, Tom Cruise from Risky , 2 Mormons, 2 Towel-heads, Bill Cosby, a Ghost, a StarFleet officer, a Lion, 2 Nerds, Gum on a Shoe, Hugh Heffner, etc. Those were just a few of those who showed up of which there were many.

Halloween Memories

HalloweenUPDATED 4:30pm 10/23: See below.

Probably one of my fondest memories was from either late elementary or early middle school, dressing up as a punk rocker, complete with spiked hair with the green hairspray, and running around my parents neighborhood for a little bit before being set loose for the first time with my . We went around all on our rollerblades like demonically possessed hockey players into the dark night… huh?

Whoa, I don’t know where that came from, it was pretty tame, but one of the most memorable. I remember having a scary story session in one of the neighbor’s attics setup to look like a graveyard, it was pretty cool.

Back on Track?

Texas TechSaturday’s game had kind of a weird feel to it. We were up 14-0 on our first two possessions of the game but didn’t feel all that happy about it, there was more of a sense of ‘eh’ about the whole thing. This one also ended up being Graham Harrell’s best of the season going 31-40, 396 yds and 6 TD’s with the final score being 42-26 which doesn’t make it look as close as it actually was because at one time in the second half it was 28-26, special teams definitely didn’t help today.
