Well, once again we saw “Typical Tech” play two completely different halves of football. Dominating the first half and almost completely dropping the soap in the second half. It’s a good thing that the soap A&M was handing out to the Tech players was soap-on-a-rope so that they wouldn’t completely drop it at the end of the game. From this season alone we might as well rename them “Heart Attack” Tech for the extreme ups and downs that they put themselves as well as their fans through. The picture right here is a shot of the final Tech offensive play of the game, a 40+ yard fade to Robert Johnson, his 3rd TD of the night no less, to the front right corner of the endzone. aTm, not a rivalry you say? I think maybe Franchione said it best when he quipped, “It’s hard to have a rivalry against a team that beats you all the time.”
Final score: Tech 31, A&M 27.

[edit] I can’t take credit for this since I didn’t write it, I just got it in an e-mail from a family member, thought it was funny, and thought some of you might enjoy it, so, … enjoy. [/edit]
Are you a Democrat, Republican or Southerner?
Here is a little test that will help you decide.
The answer can be found by posing the following question:
You’re walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges at you. You are carrying a Glock cal 40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

Well, I got a little bored over the last few days so I decided to update and clean a few things up around here.
Thanks to the Ajaxified Expand Post NOW plug-in whenever you come across MORE>> in a post and click on it then instead of taking you to a completely different page it will just extend the page.
With the new Fancy Archives implemented in the Navigation sidebar to your right you can now collapse the Blog Archives to your liking to declutter or expand the headings to find the posts you want going all the way back to 2003.
I also then completely rewrote the About page. It was in need of an update and I think it flows a bit better now as well.
Since I’m sure most of you don’t like to visit everyday to see if there is a new post, I have added a Subscribe page so that you can subscribe to my blog and be notified anytime I create a new post.
More updates to come when I find something new I want to add.

“Air controllers amazed as BA pilot flies despite fire”
Apparently the pilot of this British Airways jumbo jet on a flight from Los Angeles to London told air traffic control after the engine flamed out that, “We just decided we want to set off on our flight-plan route and get as far as we can.” And this all happened in February of last year, hmmm, your thoughts?

I’m sure we have all had a relationship or two where this has happened to you, either you pulling the fade or the fade is pulled on you. Getting it pulled on you is never a good feeling and pulling the fade yourself can be either intentional or unintentional. I have been guilty of unintentionally pulling the fade, but I do have a friend or two who have pulled it intentionally.
Colin and I were talking about this very subject and he checked UrbanDictionary.com (some defintions NSFW) and found their various defintions of “fade” to be unnacceptable and took it upon himself to submit one of his own. Once he submitted it took a day or two for it to be approved, and here it is in all it’s glory.
Fade
(from the Latin “fatidus”, meaning to blend) In a complicated relationship, one finds it amongst themselves to cut off all communication, recognition in public, etc., for unknown reasons. (When a woman applies this action, she is considered a [expletive], whilst a man is seen as a God among mortals.)
Examples:
Pat: That [expletive] is pulling a fade.
Andy: Pull the fade right back. (recommended response)
