Zach + Laura

Zach and Laura got married on July 17, 2010 at Paradise Cove on Grapevine Lake. The whole scene was quite nice. Aside from the 100+ degree heat and the drunken revelers on the boats in the lake the ceremony went off without a hitch.

Laura is Katie’s team lead at the elementary school she teaches at and they’ve become good friends over the last two years. These are just a few of the shots I took.

Katie and I shared the camera so you can see more photos at Katie Bares Photography

My New Ride

Ever since Logan came along Katie and I had been limited to one vehicle for driving him around and so we began doing our best to pay off her car ahead of time so that when it came to getting me a new truck we wouldn’t have two car payments. We couldn’t drive Logan around in my old truck because it was a single cab and apparently it’s bad form to put a rear facing car seat facing forward in the front seat of a truck. Who knew? Just a few weeks ago we were able to sell my truck for how much we wanted and we just finished paying off Katie’s car. Once all that was finished we started looking in earnest for my new truck. We eventually settled on this slightly used ’09 F150 SuperCrew that had less than 12k miles on it. We got it at an extremely generous price and we made a round trip road adventure yesterday to and from New Braunfels to take delivery of it. Andy Hefferly suggested that I get some good pictures of it so I woke up this morning and posed it off a boat ramp at the lake near our house as cheasily as possible.

Logan’s First Fight

Logan likes to roll around the kitchen in his walker any time we are in there. He especially enjoys fighting the dishwasher while we are doing dishes. He managed to pull the water bottles out and throw them around before I was able to catch him on video. Enjoy.

There Was A Barn Raising

Mike, my father-in-law, sent me these photos this morning of the new barn/apartment out on their land in Bastrop, TX. Their plan is to finish out the apartment inside themselves over the next year for them to live in while they sell their house in Katy and build their new house just a few yards away from the new barn. Enjoy!
