Here it is! I didn’t have time for the full post which will be coming in a day or two, I just had to get this up. I just finished it about an hour ago with help from Joe Keating, he earned himself dinner and a beer.
Katie and I wanted to have the first of many cookouts, parties, etc. this Friday at our new house in Frisco, starting at 6pm. Call me for the address so that you can Google Map your way to our place.
It will be bring your own beer/meat/buns, I’ve got the grill that we will fire up and cook whatever you bring. We will have sodas/juices for those not drinking alcohol. For the gentlemen, and few ladies, that would like to we will also be having a game of poker, once again the first of many, to immediately follow dinner.
This.Movie.Was.Awesome. Katie and I went to AMC 24 Stonebriar and it rocked the house. Our showing was Sunday at 10am. First show of the day. It was packed. The fullest I’ve ever seen a Sunday showing of any movie and any time of the day, let alone the first movie being shown. It’s the most intense, and best, movie I’ve seen so far this year and I predict it to stay that way. Look for one of the early scenes with The Joker and his “magic trick.” It was ridiculous. Whatever you do, don’t miss this movie in theaters.
I finally got around to combining Katie and I’s movie collections. We now have over 300, it’s kinda ridiculous. That’s just DVD’s. Katie has about another 25-30 VHS tapes. That just means I’ll have to go get a DVD recorder and some blank DVD’s to copy them over so I can get rid of those space consuming bastions of 80’s technology.
Katie and I just picked up some tickets to the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans preseason game at Texas Stadium on Aug. 22 at 7pm. The tickets we got were $9 a piece and are in Section 120, Row 18. We are just asking if anyone else would like to join us that we try to go all in one car to help split the crazy parking fees. Let me know!

UPDATE 2: My Dad snatched up the last remaining ticket, we are all booked up now!
…is great. I get to hang out with my best friend all the time. I get to see a beautiful face first thing in the morning cuz we all know it’s not mine. Setting up a new house is crazy, fun, frustrating, a hassle, and challenging all at the same time… and that doesn’t bother me. I hear from friends that it only gets better with kids. I’m looking forward to that when the time comes.
